Peach Pointe Adult Family Home

We are looking for a patient, dependable caregiver to join our small team. You will know every resident by name, and they will know you.

What You’ll Do

  • Help residents bathe, dress, groom, use the toilet and move around safely
  • Assist with medications under each care plan, including nurse-delegated tasks once trained
  • Cook and serve home-style meals and snacks, and help residents eat when needed
  • Keep the house tidy: light housekeeping, laundry and linens
  • Spend real time with residents: a walk in the garden, a card game, a song, a chat on the porch
  • Notice changes in health, mood or appetite and report them
  • Write clear daily notes

What You’ll Need

  • Kindness, patience and a calm manner, especially with memory loss
  • Reliability and good communication with residents, families and teammates
  • Ability to lift, bend, stand and walk for long stretches
  • Comfort with cooking and light housework
  • Experience is welcome but not required

Washington Requirements

  • Pass a DSHS fingerprint-based background check
  • Home Care Aide certification, NAC, LPN or RN, or complete the state’s required training and certification within the time allowed
  • Current CPR and first aid, or willingness to get them
  • Dementia and mental-health specialty training, or willingness to complete it
  • Yearly continuing education, which we help you schedule

Pay and schedule are discussed at interview. Day, evening and overnight shifts may be available.
